UK's post-Brexit customs plan could face complaints at WTO, expert says

Preferential UK checks on EU imports after Brexit could draw complaints from other members of the World Trade Organization, a customs expert told lawmakers in London today.

The UK government is planning a six-month implementation period for new customs procedures for EU imports after it fully leaves the bloc on Dec.
