UK risking business with 'foolish' bonfire of EU law, industry leader says

The UK's push to diverge from EU law needs to be "smarter," the head of its main business lobby has warned, calling current plans for thousands of pieces of retained legislation to expire by the end of the year "foolish" and a source of "huge uncertainty."
