UK retailers face call to stop use of live facial recognition

Retailers in the UK face pressure from dozens of lawmakers to stop their use of live facial recognition.
Today, 65 parliamentarians urged private companies and police to immediately stop using the technology out of fears over human rights, discrimination, a lack of legal basis, and more.
