UK parliament approves EU-UK post-Brexit trade deal

The UK parliament today approved the EU-UK trade deal, paving the way for its provisional application from Jan. 1, when the Brexit transition period is set to expire. Next year, the agreement will need to clear the last procedural hurdle with a formal vote in the European Parliament.
