UK outlines plan for a Digital Pound

The UK is likely to need a digital pound, the government said today ahead of setting out its plans for such a coin.
In plans that will be published tomorrow, the government will ask for feedback on its proposal for a central bank digital currency (CBDC) issued by the Bank
