UK listed companies and financial institutions must report net-zero plans by 2023

UK listed companies and financial institutions will be required to set out detailed plans by 2023 on how they will reach net-zero greenhouse-gas emissions.

Finance minister Rishi Sunak said in a speech in Glasgow today (see here) that he will make the UK the first ever “net zero-aligned financial center” with a new mandatory
