UK finance sector faces a new FCA that will 'test powers to the limit'

The UK financial services sector will have a tougher, more proactive regulator which has pledged to test its powers to the limit in oversight and enforcement.

That is the message from the Financial Conduct Authority as its chief executive today set out a business plan for the coming year.
