UK data protection reform bill now ready following political delays, minister says

A new draft of UK data protection rules diverging from the EU’s is ready and should be published for lawmakers' scrutiny soon, a minister has said, following delays caused by political turmoil.
The bill was introduced in July last year but has been held up since then by the fall
