UK bank buffer will stay at zero until at least end of 2022 to avoid dividend curbs, BOE says

A key capital buffer for UK banks will stay at zero percent until at least the end of 2022, the Bank of England said today as it sought to dispel fears that lenders' distributions would suffer if they tap their buffers.
