UK audit shakeup plan offers some concessions to business

The UK government today set out in detail its long overdue plans to reform the audit sector following a string of high-profile corporate failures.

Many of the proposals published today (see here) — like forcing the 350 largest companies to appoint a smaller firm for at least some of their audit work
