TPG Telecom, Vodafone merger set to proceed, in damaging defeat for Australian regulator

TPG Telecom's planned A$15 billion ($10.1 billion today) merger with Vodafone Hutchison Australia is set to proceed, with a Melbourne Australian court announcing today it had ruled against an attempt by the country's competition regulator to block the controversial merger.
