ThyssenKrupp loses challenge to EU’s Tata Steel merger veto

ThyssenKrupp today lost its bid to overturn the European Commission’s 2019 block of its plan to merge its European operations with those of Indian rival Tata Steel, with the court rejecting the German steelmaker’s pleas in their entirety.
