Third Australian telco forced to abandon restrictive search deals with Google

Australian telecommunications major TPG Telecom has agreed to end restrictive agreements with Google that allow the tech giant’s search services to be exclusively pre-installed on Android devices, less than a week after a Washington DC court found similar arrangements to be in breach of US antitrust laws.
