Texas AG seeking evidence that social media companies are common carriers

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is defending a Texas social media law from a US legal challenge by two tech lobbying groups, wants to seek discovery about their members' content moderation policies to determine whether they should be regulated like public utilities, according to a motion filed in US federal court
