Tech execs' jail threat over child harm will be in online safety law, UK government confirms

The UK government today confirmed that it would amend its controversial Online Safety Bill to include the possibility of criminal liability for senior tech executives who fail to protect children's safety, a move that the minister responsible said would give the law added bite.
