Tata's Air India acquisition will include overlaps, but it won't harm competition, company says

Tata Group's 180 billion rupees ($2.4 billion) acquisition of India's national carrier Air India gives rise to horizontal and vertical overlaps but isn’t likely to have an impact on competition in the aviation industry, the conglomerate said in its merger filing to the Indian antitrust authority.
