South Korea adopts supplementary rules to meet GDPR data protection adequacy assessment

South Korea will ensure pseudonymized European data sets are anonymized once the purpose for processing the data expires and make national security agencies subject to corrective orders from the country’s privacy regulator in the event of privacy breaches when handling European data, according to new notices to the privacy law adopted
