Russia's Swift removal will ‘effectively’ block trade with EU, Dombrovskis says

Cutting key Russian banks from the Swift international payment system would “effectively” block Russian imports and exports, EU trade chief Valdis Dombrovskis has said.
The bloc’s ban on exports of critical technologies such as semiconductors or aircraft spare parts will also significantly limit Russia’s production capabilities, he added.
