Retailer Easylife gets UK privacy fine slashed after stopping some data processing

UK catalog retailer Easylife has had a privacy fine of 1.48 million pounds ($1.7 million) dropped to 250,000 pounds after it stopped processing some data related to health products. 

The UK data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office, levied the fine last October (see here), but Easylife pledged to appeal (see here).
