Republican US FTC commissioners seek study of social media platforms’ content-moderation decisions

The US Federal Trade Commission should probe whether social media and financial services companies' enforcement of community guidelines is deceptive, newly appointed Republican Commissioners Andrew Ferguson and Melissa Holyoak said at a House subcommittee hearing today.
The commission should use its Section 6B authority to study how social media platforms
