Qualcomm faces UK class action over chip licensing (update*)

UK consumer group Which is starting an opt-out class action against chipmaker Qualcomm, claiming that its conduct led to price rises for Apple and Samsung handsets.

Which said it was representing more than 29 million consumers, who could be eligible for a total payout of more than 480 million pounds (around $680 million).
