Private equity investments in a single sector get scrutiny from India's antitrust regulator

Common ownership of minority shareholders across companies in the same sector, and its impact on competition, needs to be studied, the head of India’s antitrust authority said today, while announcing a market study into common ownership by private equity, or PE, investors.
