Piergiovanni to lead Vestager cabinet work on EU competition policy

Michele Piergiovanni will take over the senior role on competition-policy work in the private office of Margrethe Vestager, executive vice-president at the European Commission, MLex has learned.

The position will become free when Linsey McCallum takes up her new role as deputy Director-General for Antitrust on Oct. 1.
