Past EU antitrust fines to be evaluated for effectiveness, Vestager says

Companies such as Google, Daimler, Qualcomm and Intel can expect to see their past antitrust sanctions revisited under European Commission plans to order a study on whether they have worked, EU competition chief Margrethe Vestager said today.
Her remarks came in response to a November 2020 question from EU lawmaker
