Orange settles rival SFR's EUR3 billion antitrust suit

French telecom giant Orange has escaped an antitrust claim by rival SFR of 3 billion euros ($3.6 billion), it said today in a regulatory filing.

The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding, as part of which SFR would withdraw its lawsuit, the filing said. The terms of the MOU weren't made public.
