Online disinformation linked to UK riots, but no legal breach assessed, regulator says

UK social media platforms need to show they are going to respond to a clear link between disinformation and civil unrest over the summer following a mass stabbing at a children’s dance class that left three children dead, chief executive of online safety regulator Ofcom said.
