Novartis faces EUR214 million claim over Greek ‘bribery’ case

Novartis faces a 214 million-euro ($225 million) lawsuit filed by the Greek government over suspected bribery offenses.
Health minister Thanos Plevris said that the state is claiming millions of euros from Novartis over the “moral damage” it has suffered linked to a US settlement the pharmaceutical company struck two years ago.
