NCAA needs antitrust exemption to implement player-compensation rules, college official tells lawmakers

A senior college athletics official made an apparent request to US senators for an exemption from antitrust law for the National Collegiate Athletic Association and its member schools and conferences so that they can implement rules around athlete compensation.
