Meta hit with US suit alleging data collection through hundreds of hospital websites

Meta Platforms was hit by proposed US class-action litigation today alleging its Facebook Pixel tracking software illegally collected protected patient data from more than 600 health care providers' websites and apps across the US — activity an anonymous plaintiff alleged is a wiretap violation.
