Meta fails to overturn information request in EU antitrust probe

Meta Platforms has lost an EU court challenge to information requests sent by European Commission antitrust investigators.

The EU's lower-tier General Court said Meta hadn't demonstrated that the regulator's demands "went beyond what was necessary" or that a virtual data room wasn't sufficiently safe.
