Merging companies told to hold off on formal filings by UK's CMA

Companies with yet-to-be-closed mergers are being told to hold off on formally filing notifications of their deals by the UK’s competition regulator in light of the Covid-19 crisis, MLex has learned. 

In one case, the Competition and Markets Authority has asked a company not to file because it anticipates delays reaching third parties
