McCallum to leave Vestager cabinet to lead DG Competition's antitrust work

Linsey McCallum, a long-serving adviser to EU competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager, will take up a senior post in DG Competition overseeing antitrust enforcement.

The EU executive approved the move today, saying McCallum would take up the post as Deputy Director General for Antitrust at a “date of effect to be determined later."
