Mastercard must defend UK card-fees mass claim after Merricks gets antitrust court nod (*update)

Mastercard will have to defend against a mass lawsuit over its payment card fees after Walter Merricks, a British consumer champion, won approval from the UK competition court to bring a multibillion-pound damages action to trial.
The ruling from the Competition Appeal Tribunal (see here) reverses its dismissal four years
