Mastercard barred from adding new customers in India because of localization rule lapses

Mastercard has been barred from adding new customers in India over accusations it failed to comply with data storage rules.
The global payment system operator, which commands a considerable share of the Indian credit card and debit card markets, was said by India’s central bank to have breached rules introduced
