MAS, AirAsia win appeal vs Malaysian airline cartel decision

Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia today won their closely watched appeals against a 2014 decision by the Malaysian antitrust regulator to fine them 10 million ringgit ($2.4 million) each for entering into an anticompetitive agreement.

The “collaboration agreement” in question was entered into as part of a share-swap deal in August 2011
