Makers of Internet-connected devices want voluntary approach to EU cybersecurity certification

Makers of Internet-connected devices such as smart watches and security cameras favor a voluntary approach rather than updated regulation to strengthen the cybersecurity of their equipment, according to a European Commission study seen by MLex.
