Localiza-Unidas merger edges closer to approval in Brazil

Localiza and Unidas’ merger is one step closer to receiving regulatory clearance in Brazil. Antitrust investigators are set to recommend that the country’s competition agency approve the deal with structural remedies affecting the car rental market, MLex has learned. The agency’s Tribunal is responsible for issuing a final ruling.
