Liberty, Telefónica skip chance to amend UK JV in bid for EU approval

Liberty Global and Telefónica have skipped the chance to offer concessions to EU officials reviewing their plan to merge their Virgin Media and O2 businesses in the UK.
The decision not to amend the deal means the European Commission must decide by Nov. 19 whether to clear the transaction unconditionally,
