LG UPlus fined for failing to manage privacy protection at its South Korean affiliates

South Korean telecom giant LG UPlus was held liable for failing to manage personal information protection at its retail stores and affiliate businesses, and was hit with pecuniary fines by the South Korean privacy regulator today.
