Korean Air, Asiana deal subject to merger review in 14 countries, Korean Air says

The acquisition by South Korea’s largest airline Korean Air of its smaller rival Asiana Airlines faces merger reviews in 14 countries, of which nine would require mandatory reviews and five would be subject to voluntary notification, Korean Air CEO Woo Ki-hong said today.
