JFTC conditionally approved Fujifilm-Hitachi deal, talked with China's SAMR

The Japan Fair Trade Commission disclosed today that it has given conditional approval for Fujifilm to acquire Hitachi’s diagnostic-imaging business. The Japanese competition regulator also disclosed that it was contacted by several regulators in other jurisdictions on the deal, including from China.
