Irish enforcement of Facebook data leak failed victims, campaign group says in court appeal

A mass leak of Facebook users' personal information two years ago should have been classified as a data "breach" under EU law, a campaign group has argued in a court appeal of enforcement in the case by Ireland's privacy watchdog. 

The Irish Data Protection Commission fined Facebook's owner, Meta Platforms, 265 million euros
