Indian government asks court to stop WhatsApp pushing privacy policy notifications

The Indian Government has asked the Delhi High Court to stop WhatsApp from "pushing notifications" on existing users who have yet to accept the messaging service's controversial 2021 privacy policy.

In an affidavit filed on Thursday, the government also asked the court to direct the Facebook-owned messaging service to provide a record
