Indian airlines Air India and Vistara announce plans to merge by March 2024

Tata Group and Singapore Airlines will need to seek merger clearance from competition authorities in India and Singapore following the joint announcement yesterday to merge their joint venture airline Vistara with Air India.

Singapore Airlines has a 49 percent shareholding in Vistara and Tata holds 51 percent. Air India, which owns Air India
