Illumina makes its case to national competition authorities ahead of formal EU charge sheet

Illumina has sought to get in front of the EU merger regulator by sending national competition authorities and officials from other departments of the European Commission a briefing paper today, preempting anticipated objections to its Grail acquisition.

The 13-page brief, seen by MLex, argues that the commission has no legal justification
