Hong Kong antitrust regulator's head of legal unit to leave agency

Steven Parker, who oversees the legal division of Hong Kong’s antitrust regulator, will step down after July this year following his decision not to renew his contract as an executive director, the Competition Commission told MLex.

Xu Yuan has worked for MLex for seven years, all of them based in Hong Kong. She has reported on a wide range of regulatory topics, including antitrust, cybersecurity and data security, in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
