Honda-Hitachi deal gets approval without conditions in Brazil

Japanese automaker Honda and conglomerate Hitachi have received approval without conditions from the Brazilian competition authority for their proposal to create an integrated auto-parts company. Approval for the transaction, which would combine three Honda affiliates and a Hitachi subsidiary, came after nearly three months of review.
