Hesse data watchdog's alleged leniency in data-breach case reaches EU judges

A dispute between the Hesse Data Protection Authority and a complainant for an alleged failure to pursue a privacy violation case against a German savings bank has landed at the EU's highest court.

The Wiesbaden Administrative Court has asked the Court of Justice of the EU whether the Hesse supervisory authority is required
