Google, states battle over US trial schedule in ad tech antitrust, privacy case

Google and a group of states led by Texas laid out starkly different visions before a US judge today over how antitrust and privacy litigation concerning the Internet giant’s advertising technology business should proceed, with Google saying an eight- to 10-week jury trial shouldn’t happen until October 2023.
