Google risks Australian antitrust lawsuit over 'cumulative effect' of adtech self-preferencing

Google is likely to face allegations it has breached Australia's competition law, after the country's competition regulator said today it is considering allegations against Google over the cumulative effect of the US technology company's self-preferencing in the adtech market, which the regulator says has harmed current and future rivals.
